This Quartz Sand is perfect when used as a decorative inlay in rings and turned wood items or other craft pieces.

Mix with our Volcanic Sand for adding a wonderful stone inlay to your work. Pour or sprinkle the grains onto a glued surface to achieve different attractive effects.

Each 250g bottle comes with a flapper lid for easy pouring or sprinkling.

Application :
1: Cut a groove round the edge of a bowl 2 to 3mm deep;
2: Using CA glue (this is best), put a drop in part of the groove;
3: Carefully pour some sand onto the glue;
4: Repeat until the groove is filled;
5: Cut the inlay back using a carbide tool;
6: Sand and finish as usual, taking care to remove the dust from any voids in the inlay.

Non Hazardous: Eyes and throat can become irritated when exposed to high concentrations of dust. May cause skin irritation. There are no significant health, physical or environmental hazards. Sourced from licensed and regulated deposits with high brightness and low iron content.
