TurnMaster Detail Point Cutter – Tungsten Carbide

This cutter is perfect for roughing down square stock to round and is therefore ideal for spindle work. As its name suggests its fine point also allows for fine detail on bowls and spindles. Shear scraping with this cutter is NOT recommended. Made in hard-wearing tungsten carbide, this cutter delivers exceptional durability.

Sharpening:
Use a diamond file or diamond plate flat across the top face. To gain best results and increase the longevity of the cutter this simple procedure should be done little and often.

Use the TurnMaster cutter holder to reshape the profile on the Robert Sorby ProEdge using a diamond belt or on a grinding wheel using diamond or other high density abrasive material.
